I got my first Microsoft certificate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, on November 2020. This certificate is earned by passing the exam Exam AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator, and is initially valid for two years. So same as last year, it was time to recertify during this summer. Again, this particular certificate was valid for recertification, which happens as an unproctored assessment taken online.
Mostly as a reminder to myself, some stats about this little endeavour:
- Took the exam without any deliberate preparation or planning.
- My current job still revolves around Azure and AWS, so good amount of knowledge and practice was gained on the field.
- Although there were couple of surprising questions, I passed the assessment on the first try.
